Seacrest's attorneys obtained the stay-away order hours after they say Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. was detained at the E! Entertainment Television headquarters in Los Angeles. The filing claims Uzomah was carrying a knife and was trying to see the popular television and radio host. Uzomah, 25, is on probation for another incident involving Seacrest. Court records show he pleaded guilty in Orange County, Calif., last month to three misdemeanors: carrying a switchblade knife, assault and battery. Earlier this month, the season-seven "American Idol" runner-up released Christmas From the Heart, which features 12 Christmas favorites as well as a new song Archuleta co-wrote, called "Melodies of Christmas." The 18-year-old told MTV News that working on an original holiday tune came naturally. "It all happened so fast that I didn't really think about it!" he said. "I mean, that was the last song we worked on and recorded. And it was all pretty much a rush." Recording at a breakneck pace that rivaled the fast turnaround of his self-titled debut last year, David still managed to sing in four different languages for the album. While the debut had many musical cooks, according to the track listing obtained by Entertainment Weekly, it appears that songs co-written by fellow "Idol" alum Chris Daughtry, as well as those with singer/songwriter Mat Kearney , did not make the cut. Kearney had previously told MTV News that the tune he was working on with Allen would rough up the squeaky-clean Conway, Arkansas, native's image.
