Celebs Invade Day One of Democratic National Convention in Denver

Day one at the Democratic National Convention — and it's already a celeb fest! Pete Wentz 's band Fall Out Boy performed for Rock the Vote (American Idol alum Chris Daughtry hit the sold-out show). "We're throwing the band's name behind the idea of voting," singer Patrick Strump told Usmagazine.com at the concert. "Foreign policy is something that's big for me personally," added lead guitarist Joe Trohman . "It'd be nice to get out of the war. If we could dramatically cut the number of wars we're fighting, that'd be good." Wentz told Us that his band gets "text messages all the time from the troops about how various songs of ours have helped them while they're at war. There's something about that that makes you feel good." Interestingly, the band's new album, Folie á Deux , drops on November 4.
