Leona Lewis on Her Fashion Picks and the “Lovely” Simon Cowell

Leona Lewis has become a musical bombshell following her win on Simon Cowell ’s The X Factor —and now the “Bleeding Love” singer is sharing her style secrets. Despite being a platinum-selling artist, Leona tells Self magazine many of her favorite fashion finds are from trendy-but-inexpensive stores like Forever 21 and Topshop. And for those not-so-inexpensive buys? “My big splurge was a Mini Cooper,” Lewis reveals. “It’s tiny and great for getting around London.” Leona also tells the mag: “I’ll buy anything pink. I have loads of pink stuff including a fridge!” Aside from purchasing goodies for herself, Leona doesn’t forget about the men in her life: “My boyfriend likes smellies; perfumes and such, Victoria’s Secret makes yummy ones.” As for Simon Cowell—the man behind her success—Lewis admits she was scared to meet him but found him “straightforward but very charming and lovely.” (link)
