It's interesting that both Lambert and Boyle were runners-up on their respective TV talent shows yet are busting sales records. American Idol 8 winner, Kris Allen's debut, opens at No. 11 on this week's Billboard 200 after sales of 80,000 copies. She doesn't have the sheer power or range of Clarkson, but none of these tunes would sound out of place on a Clarkson record (no surprise there -- one of the producers Iraheta worked with, Max Martin, has also collaborated with Clarkson). Allison Iraheta’s album “Just Like You” is out tomorrow. The fourth place finisher is not getting much airplay with her single “Friday I’ll Be Over You.” I’m kind of surprised top 40 radio is ignoring it because it’s a pretty decent song.
