American Idol season seven winner David Cook has lost his oldest brother Adam Cook to brain cancer. David announced his brothers passing this morning in Washington D.C., where he was serving as grand marshal at the 12th Annual Race For Hope 5K walk/run event.
The eldest of the three Cook brothers had battled the disease since 1998 and died at 1:00 a.m. on May 3, 2009.
