American Idol runner-up David Archuleta debuted his first single, "Crush," on Friday.
The ballad's verses include: "I'm trying, trying to walk away/ but I know this crush is going nowhere."
The 17-year-old admitted that he was “nervous” about debuting his new tune.
"It's like, 'this is the day that my song is gonna be on the radio!'" Archuleta told NYC radio station Z100 . "It's just crazy. What are people going to think? I hope they like it! I'm so excited!"
