Last night former winner Fantasia performed on American Idol. Let me just say what everyone is thinking…how in the world did this girl win? Was the competition really that bad? All she did was screech and holler....

    She's terrible, but from what I've heard they played her up to win because she was up against a 17 year old girl, Diana DeGarmo (sp?), who was one of these robo-contestants, born and bred to win these types of competitions, so, worried that American Idol would turn into a teeny bopper competition, they showered Fantasia with enough praise to sway voters her way.  The next year they opened up auditions to anyone under 30.
