Outspoken American Idol judge Simon Cowell (48) and girlfriend of six years Terri Seymour (34) have ended their relationship. Cowell’s rep confirmed the much speculated gossip to People magazine.
“Terri phoned Simon and finished it in September, about six weeks ago. They are going to remain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reasons for ending it.”

Diana DeGarmo was a guest this morning on The Howard Stern Show and met Eric the Midget. The talented singer is 21 years old and has been reaping the benefits of her runner up finish on American Idol at age 16.
The talented teen came in second spot in season three of the reality show singing contest. She has since become a Broadway actress, following the same career path as season three AI winner Fantasia Barrino.

Paula Goodspeed, a former American Idol contestant was discovered dead in a car near Paula Abdul’s home in the 3800 block of Beverly Ridge Drive yesterday in Sherman Oaks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The young woman, age 30, is believed to have died of a drug overdose.
According to Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroners office said, “we are investigation the case as a possible suicide. The cause of death will not be determined until toxicology tests are completed.”

Shania Twain was absolutely stunning last night at the 42nd Annual CMA Awards in Nashville. The gorgeous country singer presented the award for 2008 Entertainer of the Year to Kenny Chesney, his fourth win. Twain took top honors in 1999.
The musician has been laying low after a breakup with her husband Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange. The pair, who had been married 15 years, announced their split in May 2008. It was revealed that Lange had been having an affair with the couple’s secretary.

If you are a contestant on the UK television show The X Factor, you better watch what you say about outspoken judge Simon Cowell. That is apparently an eligibility requirement, as evidenced by some leaked contracts that the contestants had to sign.
The contracts were made public this week and they state that contestants may not verbally disapprove of Cowell in public or on air. Simon got wind of this and is of course denying that he knew of this clause.

We joke, we joke…Paula Abdul is stable as long as she is sitting down and being held up by the other American Idol judges, right? Abdul is named as a party in a lawsuit that was filed by Jill Kohl, who “claims” she fell during a taping of Abdul’s reality show Hey Paula.
Bravo Television and NBC Universal are also named in the suit. Kohl is seeking in excess of $25,000 - which basically means whatever she can persuade a jury she has coming.
