It’s pretty easy to understand why Oprah topped the list of Forbes’ “Celebrity 100 list.” Her yearly salary is astronomical.

This should come as no surprise to anyone: it's Oprah Winfrey . TV Guide 's anuual star salary survey also named Simon Cowell ($50 million) and David Letterman ($32 million). Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen is the highest-paid comedy actor ($825,000 per episode) and CSI star William Peterson rakes in $600,000 an episode, although he's leaving the show this season.
