Both David Archuleta and David Cook have been excellent performers throughout the entire season of American Idol - and everyone knew it would come down to them - but who won American Idol?...

Simon Cowell turned out to be WRONG. Tuesday night he did everything possible to crown David Archuleta the new American Idol. He may be Simon’s guy but it turns out that David Cook won by a monumental margin of 12 million votes over his 17 year old competitor. Not even close folks.
