The top 10 ladies performed last night on Idol and I can’t say i was blown away by any of the performances, but Carly Smithson seems to be the one the judges would like to see make it to the end. She has the most talent of the ladies, but needs to be better than she was last night or she has no shot. Also Amanda Overmyer is the scariest singer ever! How she is still around amazes me!

Not much of a scandal, just a DUI, and an old one at that. This year's token "rocker chick," Amanda Overmyer was arrested back in Octobert 2006 and plead guilty to DUI back in October 2006. She received a 60 day suspended sentence and was put on 180 days probation which ended last August. What's shocking is she's had that same hair style since 2006! Amanda has more to worry about than this coming out. Her performance last night was really, really, really bad. SOURCE

You know how we know Amanda Overmyer, the rock-n-roll nurse on "American Idol," is really hardcore? It's not the helmetless motorcycle riding, and it's definitely not the way she butchered "Carry On My Wayward Son."

Hell to the yes, she's been arrested! She picked up a DUI back in aught-six, in addition having a string of minor offenses like doing 100 miles per hour on a road limited to 45 (daaaamn). She hasn't become a magically better driver since then, either, as we know from hearing about that cracked rib she brought to Hollywood week.

The American Idol Top 20 continued last night with the Top 10 women performances. The women underwhelmed me last week, but I have to admit I thought they did much better this week. I think perhaps the illness many of them were suffering from last week was a bigger factor than they let on during the broadcast.
This week there were three women who I felt performed better than the rest of the women contestants.
Brooke White - I hate this song. So for Brooke to not only make me enjoy her performance but actually think she performed better than any other contestant means that she is a force to be reckoned with in this competition. ...

No not me, I like Amanda Overmeyer, but I don’t like morons that drive whilst drunk, so I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place here. Isn’t she a nurse for crying out loud, shouldn’t she know better than to drink and drive, or maybe she’s never worked in an ER.
